Meetings
There were two meetings of the Utility Dogs Commission in 2015 (9-10 March and 23
September) in Delémont, Switzerland. I want to thank all the delegates who attended
the meetings.
FCI-World Championship Tracking Dogs 2015
The FCI IPO FH WC 2015 was held from May 14th until 17th, in Yakhroma, Dimitrov,
Russia, about 60 km from Moscow.
On behalf of the FCI Commission for Utility Dogs, I want to thank Mr Sergey Zhirkevic
and his assistants for the excellent organisation. We also want to thank the Supervisor,
Mr I. Lengvarsky from Slovakia, and the Judges, Mr Toshihiko Mochiziki from Japan
and Mr Mike Grueb from Switzerland, for their work.
33 participants from 17 different countries entered the competition.
FCI - Tracking Dog World Champion 2015 is Michael Tomczak with the German Shepherd
Dog Aik vom Rio Negro, from Germany, with 192 points.
Results
1 x Excellent, 6 x Very Good, 11 x Good and 15 x Unsatisfactory.
The 2016 FCI-WC for Tracking Dogs will be held in Maribor, Slovenia.
FCI-European Open for Tracking Dogs 2015
Because of organisational problems in Croatia, there was no FCI-European Open for
Tracking Dogs.

The FCI-World Championship for Utility Dogs 2015 was held in Delémont, Switzerland,
from September 19th until September 22nd, with 127 participants
from 36 countries.
On behalf of the FCI Commission for Utility Dogs, I want to thank Mr Hans Peter
Reich and his assistants for the perfect organisation of this WC.
The performance of the organisation was appreciated by the participants and the
spectators.
The judges for this WC were: in Tracking, Mr Frederic Clemens from Belgium, in Obedience
Mr Clemente Grosso from Italy and in Protection, Mr Robert Markschlaeger from Austria.
Supervisor in Tracking was Mr Martin Gugler from Germany, Supervisor of the WC was
Mr Wilfried Schäpermeier from Germany.
FCI-IPO World Champion 2015 is Jozef Adamuscin from Slovakia with his German Shepherd
Dog Harysson Ad Gür, with 290 points.

Results
3 x Excellent, 40 x Very Good, 61 x Good, 3 x Satisfactory, 13 x Unsatisfactory,
4 x Reported ill and 3 x Disqualification.
There were 4 Starter with a „Wild Card“. These participants were the 2015 Utility
World Champions of their breed (Rottweiler, Dobermann, Dutch Shepherd Dog and Riesenschnauzer).
FCI-World Championship for Mondioring Dogs 2015
There were two meetings of the Mondioring section of the FCI Commission for Utility
Dogs (February 23rd and October 10th, both in Vendenheim,
France).
In June, the FCI General Committee accepted Mondioring as an official FCI Dog sport.
Further to this decision, we could have 1st FCI-World Championship for Mondioring
Dogs.
This first FCI World Championship for Mondioring Dogs was held in Vendenheim, France
from September 28th until October 3rd with 60 participants
from 16 countries.

On behalf of the FCI Commission for Utility Dogs, I want to thank Mr Bernard Roser
and his assistants for the perfect organisation of this first FCI WC. The performance
of the organisation was appreciated by the participants and the spectators. We also
want to thank the supervisor Mr Valeer Linclau, from Belgium, and the Judges, Mrs
Iris Remund, from Switzerland, and Mr Alfred Schot, from France.
FCI International Judges seminars
In 2014, the FCI Commission for Utility Dogs started with regional education seminars
for FCI IPO Judges.
There are 4 Regions:
- Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Israel, Spain and the American
Working Dogs Federation
- Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania
- Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Japan,
Taiwan
- Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Thailand and Malaysia
In 2015, the FCI Commission for Utility Dogs organised 2 seminars: one in Nova Gorica,
Slovenia, and one in Vienna, Austria. These educational seminars aim at leading
to a more homogeneous judging system of dogs and dog handlers.
Both seminars, with a theoretical and practical part, were successful, with a high
number of attendees.
I want to thank the referents of these seminars, Mr Hari Arcon from Slovenia and
Mr Robert Markschlaeger from Austria for their very good and appreciated work.
The theme of the seminars was: national and international judging according to the
FCI Regulations.
On 18 October, the Vice-president of the FCI Commission for Utility Dogs, Mr Wilfried
Schäpermeier, from Germany, passed away. He was a great figure of dog sports, a
great dog handler and a very valuable member of our commission, for many years.
On behalf of the FCI Commission for Utility Dogs, the President attended the funeral
and brought the condolences of all the commission members to Mrs Schäpermeier.
At the meeting of the FCI Commission for Utility Dogs held on September 23rd, the
following decisions took place:
- the 2019 FCI IPO WC for Utility Dogs will take place in Austria
- the 2016 FCI WC for Tracking Dogs will take place in Ukraine
I want to thank all the delegates of the FCI Commission for Utility Dogs for their
contribution and active work in 2015. I also want to thank the FCI General Committee
for their positive support and acceptance of our proposals. It shows their appreciation
of our work.
My special thanks go to the Executive Director and staff of the FCI General Secretariat
for their excellent cooperation.
